When men who have always had short hair first start growing theirs out or consider doing so, it's normal to want to have an idea of how fast it grows. It's certainly helpful to know that on average it grows about 6 inches per year, but it can be more helpful to have pictures that illustrate progress. There aren't a lot of pictures like that out there. So, thought I'd post a few of my own. I've gotten many responses from guys with many questions, and I'm happy to help with what information I have from my own limited perspective. But the best resource for men with questions about growing their hair long is at the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard. These folks are very helpful.

I'll have more pictures later showing subsequent progress in hair growth.
